Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American actor and singer is extremely famous. Her mom raised her in the USA, where she faced many racial taunts that left her feeling like a non-person. Her confidence began to grow at the age of nineteen when she entered a school audition and was highly praised for her singing. This not only increased her confidence, but it was also a change in the direction in which she went on to pursue her professional career. At the age of 22, she graduated from New York's Julliard School. At the age of 23 she made her debut on Broadway with Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films with You've Got Mail. But her biggest break came when she appeared in the part of The Lady of The Lake in the first Broadway production of Spamalot winning not just her the Tony Award for her performance as well as a lot of critical praise. The following year, in 2007, she was a cast member in the ABC series Grey's Anatomy and became more well-known. She is also a known performer and has published an extended version of her play. In addition, she has been an advocate for LGBT concerns.
